For the last 12 days I’ve been in training camp with my squad, while living in a bubble. We were confined to a basement, using porta potties and trying to figure out how to live out of a backpack. Needless to say, we got to know each other very fast. These people that I met 12 days ago as strangers are now family and are going to be my family for the next 11 months.

The best way I can describe training camp, is that it felt like a summer camp. We had so many sessions where we were diving deep into the Holy Spirit, learning about one another, trusting both God and the squad, as well as trying some wonderful food, and learning about the cultures that accompanied them. My squad is amazingly gifted in the Holy Spirit and isn’t afraid to step out in faith and obey God. They are the most confident, bold, courageous, encouraging, and Holy Spirit driven people I have ever met and I am beyond blessed to be apart of this 11 month journey with them.

In these last 12 days I have learned so much from them but also from God. God is so good, gracious, and gentleman-like. He is always with us and always guiding us toward Him. He stretches us beyond our comfort zone and convicts us in the most unforeseen way. God is so big and magnificent, yet right by us in comfort and peace. He is beyond incredible and I can’t wait to see and learn more about him around the world.

Would you continue to pray for my team and I as we head to Colombia today?:)
