Hello Family and Friends! For those of you who don't know, my name is Rachel Horn (Sunshine) and I am getting ready to embark on a year long journey across the world. But first here is a little about me. My nickname is Sunshine because I smile all the time and my favorite color is yellow :) I like flamingos because they are awkward looking, bumblebees because they are fat and fuzzy, and pineapples because they are yellow and taste great! I like the woods because trees are great for climbing and it's very peaceful.

I love children! I am about to graduate from Northwest University with a double major in Children and Family Ministries and Biblical Literature. I have worked at a few churches, learning as much as I can about being a children's pastor. Through this process I have gained an even stronger love for special needs kids. I desire deeply to connect with them and provide them with the best learning experience I can. I believe that all kids are the most important people in society because they are the next generation.

I also love going on adventures! I am always willing to try new things and even though heights scare me skydiving was a blast!! I went to Ethiopia a couple years ago and it was the best trip I could have asked for and inspired me to keep traveling and helping people whenever and wherever I can, thus why I have decided to be apart of the World Race. I am looking forward to learning new cultures, meeting awesome people, sharing the love and hope of Jesus with everyone I encounter and helping to the best of my ability.ย
