A lot of people have been asking why I would want to be away from home, traveling for an entire year. Well I am here to tell you why!

How did this all begin. Well a few years back I went on my first missions trip to Ethiopia and it was the greatest thing that I had done. It was amazing to experience their culture and way of life. The leader of that trip had gone on the world race a few years prior and kept mentioning stories from it, and it had been something that God wouldn’t let leave my mind. So through days, months, and years of prayer I felt that God was telling me to go. And one thing that I’ve learned is to obey God and take a leap of faith, so that’s what I’m doing.

It all boils down to this, I am going because I am obeying a call that God has placed on my life. I am doing the world race because there are many people across the world that have never been given the chance to hear about the love of God. I am going, to help local missionaries/ministries by encouraging them and serving them however they need. I am going overseas to connect with people and serve them where they are at. I am going because the Spirit is already doing work in these countries and people. I am putting a hold on my life here in the states because I am a vessel of the Spirit. That is why I am going on this year long adventure across the world.

“Let me hear your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.” -Psalm 143:8
